This session explores how we perceive stress daily. We will discuss how lifestyle habits can impact our tolerance to stress over time. You’ll leave with simple, practical strategies to foster healthy habits in a way that is meaningful to you.
Joanna Marra | Director, Wellness, CAA Club Group of Companies
Joanna has a Bachelor of Public Health degree from Brock University, focusing on medical sciences. During her studies, she worked as an Athletic Therapist, where she found her passion for human movement, health, and wellness. She also holds three postgraduate degrees in Exercise Science and Lifestyle Management, Wellness Coaching, and Lifestyle Medicine, and a Master’s in Integrated Health and Wellness. In addition to her degrees, Joanna is a Clinical Exercise Physiologist with a specialization in high-performance athletes, Certified Fitness Instructor Specialist, Spin Instructor, YogaFit Instructor, and Registered Health Coach. Joanna is passionate about creating a healthy environment where people can thrive, by providing education, tools, and resources.
Alexis Silver | Wellness Consultant, CAA Club Group of Companies
Alexis Silver is a Wellness Consultant at CAA Club Group of Companies. With a background in nutrition, health promotion, and public health, Alexis uses her expertise to deliver high-quality wellness programming on a range of topics. As a Registered Dietitian, Alexis understands how to break down research into easily digestible information for the public in a way that promotes positive behavior change. Alexis holds a Master of Public Health in Nutrition and Dietetics at the University of Toronto and a Bachelor of Applied Sciences at Toronto Metropolitan University (formerly Ryerson University).
