Winnipeg Insurance Brokers is looking for a dynamic, hard-working, and driven individual to generate new sales opportunities as well as manage an existing book of commercial business. With 6 locations to service across Winnipeg, this is an excellent opportunity for a commercial lines professional to build upon a growing book of business.

Qualifications / Required Skills

Accountabilities:
• Achieve quarterly and annual sales targets
• Achieve annual retention targets
• Identify new business opportunities by building solid relationships with various centres of influence
• Create and present comprehensive insurance protection packages that are tailored to our business clients’ needs
• Responsible for processing policy renewals, re-writes, payments and COIs
• Develop and maintain solid relationships with key industry partners
• Develop and execute a formal business plan
• Work collaboratively in a team environment
• Maintain professionalism and a demonstrated commitment to living the Winnipeg Insurance Brokers’ values on a regular and consistent basis
• Stay current on industry trends, data and information; use this knowledge to enhance our offering, the clients’ experience, and share with internal team
• Work with internal stakeholders to develop new business opportunities
• Continuously develop self through industry-related programs and education

Qualifications:
• Minimum Level 2 General Insurance license (Level 3 preferred)
• IWS certification with Autopac experience is required
• Experience in commercial lines insurance is preferred
• Strong computer skills with proficiency with MS Office products is considered an asset
• Proficiency in developing and executing formalized business plans
• Familiarity with The Agency Manager (TAM) and/or EPIC is considered an asset
• CAIB designation is considered an asset
• A criminal record check and bonding application will be required
