Job Description / Duties
We’re seeking an experienced and driven Client Manager (Commercial Insurance) to grow and strengthen relationships across our commercial portfolio. This is a client-facing, business-development role designed for a confident professional who excels at identifying opportunities, building partnerships, and providing tailored insurance solutions.

What You'll Do:
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities in target industries and markets.
- Build and maintain long-term client relationships through trust and exceptional service.
- Conduct regular policy reviews, renewals, and updates to ensure coverage accuracy and retention.
- Collaborate with service and underwriting teams to deliver seamless client experiences.
- Prepare proposals, quotes, and recommendations tailored to each client’s needs.
- Represent Kilgour Bell at networking events, industry associations, and community initiatives.
- Maintain organized and accurate client files in Applied Systems EPIC.
- Achieve or exceed sales and retention goals through proactive relationship management.
Qualifications / Required Skills
- 5–7 years of experience in commercial insurance, ideally in sales or client management.
- Valid ICM Level 2 License (CAIB, CIP, or CRM an asset).
- Proven track record of success in new business development and client retention.
- Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Proficiency with Applied Systems EPIC and Microsoft Office.
- A motivated, self-starter mindset with a client-first approach.
