Job Profile

A key management role for one of our larger branches.  This position ensures that all aspects of leading a brokerage office are coordinated and performed in the most efficient manner. The leader is responsible to ensure that all identified growth; budget and sales plans are achieved.  The position must ensure that all ONE Insurance Group employees deliver superior customer service experiences and technical capability, and efficiency.

A fundamental requirement of this position is to ensure that all insurance requirements, rules, regulations, risk management are understood and adhered to by all employees at all times.  The position is ultimately responsible for all customer interactions.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Ensure that every customer service experience demonstrates the Values of ONE Insurance and that all employees maintain relationships with customers to enhance ONE Insurance Group’s reputation, to provide and obtain information and insight on existing or potential insurance products and to ensure optimum customer satisfaction.
  • Ensure retention and growth of all Personal and Commercial/Farm Books of Business; including all customer and book management requirements (changes to policy, timely renewals, receivables etc.) are managed, delivered on time and on budget, reviewing all new policies and cancellations.
  • Provide ongoing instructions and performance feedback, development and leadership to all assigned employees.
  • Ensure all employee training and education (skill and industry/technical) is supported.
  • Ensure active participation in community or industry associations as identified in order to develop leads, increase Insurance Expertise, expand network and to contribute to the development of ONE Insurance Group’s Broker reputation as Industry Leaders.

Qualifications/Skills

  • Personal Lines and/or Farm Lines and/or Commercial Lines Experience
  • CAIB Level 2 or 3
  • Ability to manage a book of business (we’ll give you a book of business)
  • Knowledge/experience with TAM considered an asset
  • Flexibility and a desire to work for a progressive, family run business
