Position Overview

We are looking for an energetic, experienced person to add to our growing team! If you love commercial insurance and want to work with an engaged and energetic team, this could be the role for you.

Reporting to the Manager of Sales and Service and guided by Winnipeg Insurance Brokers Ltd. mission and values, the Commercial Insurance Administrator provides support to the Commercial Team by providing superior customer service while performing administrative tasks. Success in the role will be found by having excellent verbal and written communication skills, a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail, strong time management and multi-tasking skills along with the ability to prioritize tasks with minimal supervision.

Essential Job Functions

  • Performing renewal process
  • Drafting of communications
  • Review of expiry lists
  • Information gathering for quoting purposes
  • Providing excellence in customer service
  • Retention of existing clients


  • Experience in commercial lines insurance is required
  • Experience with The Agency Manager software (TAM) is preferred
  • Applicants must hold a minimum Level 2 Agent/Broker General Insurance License
  • Strong computer skills and proficient with the Microsoft Office Package
  • IWS certified (Autopac relief)
  • A criminal record check will be required
