Insurance Advisor (MPI & Personal Lines services)

We have an opening at our St. Vital office, located at 851 Dakota St, Winnipeg, MB, for a full time Licensed Insurance Advisor with a preferred min. of 1 year experience.

Crossroads Insurance is a full service insurance brokerage providing quality products and services with professional advice for over 50 years. We are currently looking for an enthusiastic individual to join our team.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Servicing of customers through walk-ins and phone calls (MPI, Travel & Personal Lines), including cross-selling and up-selling to incoming traffic.
Shared duties on Personal Lines team, including but not limited to Basic Home, Condo, Tenants insurance duties with willingness to learn and expand knowledge. While educating and guiding clients to help them protect what matters most to them
Contribute to team environment through engagement and open communication with peers and management
Continually develop product, client and industry knowledge
Must have superior sales and customer service skills with a desire to build relationships
Commitment to exceeding customer expectations in all situations
Developing and pursuing new business opportunities
Weekday & Saturday shifts required

Qualifications / Required Skills

QUALIFICATIONS

· Level 1 General Insurance License with min. 1 year experience & MPI- IWS Certified is an asset

· EPIC software experience is an asset

· Strong organizational skills & strong base knowledge of General Insurance

· Superb communication, presentation and relationship skills

· Professional with high level of integrity

· Self-starter with the ability to adapt to a fast paced, changing environment

· Strong attention to detail and sound work ethic & dependability

· Problem Solving skills and ability to be resourceful
