What will you be doing?

The Auto Insurance Specialist I is primarily responsible for processing basic insurance transactions and auto policies. This role will also travel to Gimli and Riverton as needed.

Key Responsibilities:

This position processes basic insurance transactions and auto policies.
Processes auto and basic insurance transactions under the supervision of a more senior licensed broker.
Identifies client needs and provides information on basic insurance products such as risk coverage, benefits and other policy features best suited to meet the client's needs; works with clients to manage and reduce their risk.
Recommends and implements a client’s insurance coverage, premiums and collects payment; promotes Brio Insurance products and services.
Maintains thorough knowledge of and adhere to organizational policies and procedures on risk management, confidentiality, security and fraud prevention.

 

Qualifications / Required Skills

What do you need?

Level 1 or working towards Level 1 Brokers license
Demonstrated desire to serve others in a friendly and professional manner
Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written
Attention to detail with high degree of accuracy
Ability to work in fast-paced environment and perform well under pressure
Ability to prioritize using sound judgment to make timely and effective decisions
Knowledge of Brio Insurance products and services
Ability to follow standardized policies and procedures
Knowledge of risk management within the insurance industry
Proficient computer skills
