Job Description / Duties

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
• Managing a Personal lines book of business, including but not limited to Home, Condo, Tenants, Rentals, Boat and Seasonal insurance. Processing renewals and mid-term changes, while building a connection with the customers through educating and guiding clients to help them protect what matters most to them
• Proactively manages their book of business ( reviews client exposure, loss history, & proposes appropriate coverage and/or solutions), with a focus on maximizing retention
• Contact all clients by phone within the book upon renewal -with high focus on building rapport and relationships.
• Attain to meet personal and team sales targets
• Servicing of customer accounts through phone calls and walk-ins, including cross-selling and up-selling to existing clients
• Continually develop product, client and industry knowledge
• Ability to complete work on company portals
• Must have superior sales and customer service skills with a desire to build relationships
• Commitment to exceeding customer expectations in all situations
• Developing and pursuing new business opportunities
• Flexibility to work overtime if required.

Qualifications / Required Skills

• Must have Level 1 General Insurance License with min. 1 year experience in Personal Lines &
MPI- IWS Certified.
• EPIC software experience is an asset
• Experience using Insurance Company portals
• Strong organizational skills & strong base knowledge of General Insurance
• Tech saavy with computer proficiency
• Superb communication, presentation and relationship skills
• Self-starter with the ability to adapt to a fast paced, changing environment and manage daily demands
• Strong attention to detail and sound work ethic
• Problem Solving skills and ability to be resourceful
