Job Summary

In the position of Insurance Advisor, you will represent the Westland Insurance Group company brand and values, providing exceptional insurance service and trusted advice to our clients.

You will bring together personal lines insurance knowledge with strong technical skills to assess clients’ home, auto and lifestyle insurance needs. In particular, inquireinto the clients’ full insurance needs and recommends products, coverage discounts, promotes new programs and works to exceed the customers expectation.

You are essential in helping to achieve the Company and branch business goals. You demonstrate strong ability in client service, quality underwriting and team collaboration.

Qualifications / Required Skills

Experience and Qualifications

Grade 12, plus one year of formal education preferred.

Level 1 General Insurance License in residence of province and prepared to obtain Level 2 within the first year of employment.

Minimum one year insurance experience.

Strong knowledge of personal lines insurance underwriting.

Committed to professional development, ideally working towards CAIB or CIP designation.
