On July 19, 2024, IBAM staff, YBN committee members and IBAM members took part in the annual Habitat for Humanity Build. The insurance community worked together on a long, hot day and contributed to the construction of a home being built in Winnipeg.

Habitat for Humanity is a nonprofit housing organization that believes everyone deserves a safe place to live. Habitat for Humanity offers families a hand up through their affordable homeownership program, empowering them to build strength, stability and self-reliance. By mobilizing volunteers and community partners, Habitat for Humanity Manitoba works with people from all walks of life to build safe, decent, affordable housing for purchase by low-income working families.
