Morgann McLeod

I started in the Insurance industry in July 2021 after being referred by my family friend. I didn’t know much about insurance or the industry, and I was mainly just looking for a 9-5 office job after working shift work for many years. I started as an Auto Insurance Advisor at Hub International and quickly learned personal lines within a few months, and from there I knew I had found a career I could excel in. I worked in management at my previous job, so when a leadership position opened at my branch, I jumped at it and was given the opportunity to become Team Lead. I am now currently a Branch Coordinator with Hub managing 2 retail branches. I completed my CAIB designation in February 2023. I’m hoping to pursue the CIP designation in the future as well. 

I truly did not realize the importance of insurance until joining the industry, so being able to educate clients, as well as friends and family on insurance and its importance is very fulfilling. I also find it extremely rewarding being able to develop and mentor my team of brokers. I wanted to join the YBN to expand my network and meet other brokers, and to also learn new things that will help me in my role. 

In my personal life, I love to spend time with family and friends, spending time at the cabin, travelling and hanging out with my two cats Larry and Norman.
