The annual IBAM-YBN Dale Rempel Memorial Golf Tournament is back! Join us on Wednesday, August 27, 2025, at Quarry Oaks Golf Course for a day filled with golf, networking, and awesome prizes!  

Registration for teams and sponsorships are now OPEN! Don't miss out - Spaces are limited so make sure to get your team and sponsorship requests in early to guarantee your spot. 

The tournament is set up Texas Scramble (best ball) style, where players play 18 holes and can participate in a Putting Green Contest!

Shuttles leave Polo Park: 8:15 AM 

Registration and Breakfast/Lunch item: 9:15 AM 

Shotgun Start: 10:00 AM - Rain or Shine!  

Post-Event Reception: ~4:00 PM 

Shuttles leave Quarry Oaks: 5:30 PM

Tournament History 

The IBAM-YBN Dale Rempel Memorial Golf Tournament was created in 2013 and is run in honour of Dale Rempel, Past-President of IBAM and IBAC, and a fierce advocate and leader for the insurance industry. After a courageous battle with brain cancer, Dale Rempel passed away in 2012. In his honour, the IBAM-YBN Dale Rempel Memorial Golf Tournament was created and all proceeds from the tournament were donated to CancerCare Manitoba Foundation. With your help, IBAM has donated over $200,000 to CancerCare research. 

New Charity Announcement 

Looking forward, the winner of the IBAM Membership Community Champion Award, IBAM's inaugural award, given out at the IBAM Convention in April, will have the honour of choosing the charity-of-choice for the IBAM-YBN Dale Rempel Memorial Golf Tournament. The 2025 recipient of the IBAM Membership Champion Award is La Salle Insurance Brokers, and the charity of choice for the IBAM-YBN Dale Rempel Memorial Golf Tournament for 2025 is The Movement Centre of Manitoba.

The Movement Centre of Manitoba is a registered charitable organization that specializes in providing Conductive Education to help individuals with neuromotor conditions increase their mobility, confidence, and independence in activities of daily living.

Thanks to La Salle Insurance, tournament golfers, and the entire IBAM membership, The Movement Centre of Manitoba will receive a donation of $25,000 following this year's golf tournament.

Cancellation Policy

• Registrations may be cancelled for a full refund before August 1, 2025.  
• After August 1, 2025, refunds are not permitted.  
• Registration closes Tuesday, August 12, 2025.
