On June 5, 2025, IBAM's Manager of Professional Development and Education, Kate Murray, awarded five Commercial Insurance Business Administration students of Red River College with $1,000 awards for their pursuit of continued education and successful completion of the Commercial Insurance (CAIB 2) course.

IBAM, in partnership with Wawanesa, started this awards program in 2024 to award students who are in the pursuit of the insurance field. Students who applied for the award have taken Fundamentals of Insurance (FOI) and electively chose to take the Commercial Insurance course as part of the Red River College Business Administration program.
