  • Your exam matches your textbook edition. At registration, be sure to select the correct book from the drop-down menu.
  • No need to retake completed exams. Any CAIB exams you’ve already passed remain valid, and all editions are fully compatible with earning your designation.
  • Previous edition exams will retire in early 2027. Plan accordingly to complete any remaining assessments before this date.

How to Choose the Right Edition:

CAIB 1 and CAIB 4 New Edition study materials will replace the previous editions.

CAIB 2 and CAIB 3 must be taken using the same edition. If you have completed CAIB 2 using previous editions, you must continue with the previous edition of CAIB 3 (and vice versa).
