Job Description / Duties
Performance Objectives:
• Manage/Build a large book of business by servicing existing & new clients
• Process new business, renewals and policy change requests on broker management system as well as various company portals
• Provide superior service to existing clients with a focus on retention and cross selling opportunities where opportunity exists
• Work effectively with all members of the insurance team to obtain a clear understanding of our client’s insurance needs
Qualifications / Required Skills
- Candidates must possess a general insurance license from the Insurance Council of Manitoba, a level 2 license is an asset
- Demonstrated experience with Personal Lines of insurance is required, including managing a book of business within a team environment
- IWS certification required
- Demonstrated high level of proficiency in MS products including Word, Excel, Outlook
- Working knowledge of Broker Management system, experience with Epic is an asset
- Flexibility and a positive team player approach with effective communication skills
