Lorene Desmarais

Lorene was raised in Selkirk, Manitoba; in 2000 after spending a 13-year period of living in B.C., she returned to live outside her hometown.

Her career in Manitoba began with One Insurance (previously McMillan insurance) where she embarked on a 21-year journey in the insurance industry. Starting as an auto broker in 2001, Lorene quickly advanced to personal lines in 2003. By 2005, she had earned her CAIB designation, further enhancing her career. In 2010, she took on the role of training manager, sharing her knowledge and guiding new talent within the company.

In 2014, Lorene became the Operational Agent for One and in 2018, Lorene joined the executive team as Director of Staff and Branch Leadership. In this capacity, she had oversight for HR, and led the branch management team driving daily operational success.

Lorene is married with 2 children.

She enjoys refinishing vintage furniture and reading.
