About this Opportunity:
This exciting role is a key management position for our Central Support team. The main areas of focus and support for this position include employee and internal customer experience, operations related projects, and central support/processing services. The Manager works closely with the Retail leadership team to ensure optimal support of the broker management tool including setting up workflows in the system, testing and implementation, and reviewing standards and procedures, maintaining quality assurance, and identifying training needs. The Manager, Central Support, is also responsible for working on organizational projects to move the business forward. As team members are based both in the Letellier Office and working remotely, the Manager may choose to work either full-time onsite or remotely, with a required minimum number of in-office days per month.
Qualifications / Required Skills
Performance Objectives:
• Responsible for Team member check-in meetings to provide instruction, coaching, ongoing performance feedback, development, and leadership.
• Communicates and supports company initiatives and goals as communicated by senior leadership.
• Coaches the team on internal client advice, problem resolution and prevention at first point of contact
• Responsible for ensuring our broker management system is up to date, contains accurate information, and is configured in a way to create operational consistency and efficiency.
• Provides operational support related to various software/programs.
• Communicates operational updates across all levels of the organization.
• Monitors and reports on adherence of processes, procedures, and service guidelines
• Assists with creating new processes and reviewing existing processes for efficiency, service excellence, and consistency across the organization.
• Participates in initiatives that support ONE’s Because We Care Charitable Campaigns
• Develops and supports the adoption of processes that ensure quality customer service is provided at all times
Qualifications/Skills:
• Previous demonstrated experience in a leadership role
• Minimum Level 1 General Insurance License is an asset
• Minimum of 3 years of industry experience is required.
• Strong communication and decision-making skills, with the ability to communicate well and lead change
• Ability to work effectively with the leadership team across Manitoba collaborating on projects that move the business forward
• Prior exposure to all lines of insurance business is preferred
• Experience with EPIC is considered an asset.
• Organized and efficient with the ability to multitask.
• Flexibility and a positive approach with effective communication skills.
