Steve Lupky is a Chartered Manager (C.Mgr.) professional with over 30 years of leadership experience in Manitoba’s insurance sector, municipal governance, and non-profit boards. Steve joined IBAM in September 2025 as MPI Specialist. Before joining IBAM, Steve enjoyed an accomplished 39-year career with Manitoba Public Insurance, retiring as Senior Director, Physical Damage Claims.

Beyond his work with IBAM, Steve is deeply committed to community and professional leadership. He currently serves as Chair of the Community Futures Pan West Network and Chair of Community Futures Manitoba, organizations that foster economic development and entrepreneurship across rural and remote Canada. He also serves as President and Board Chair of the Canadian Institute of Management and facilitates board governance and leadership development programs.

Steve holds a Bachelor of Arts (Economics) from the University of Manitoba, an Advanced Certificate in Management, Leadership & Strategy from the Asper School of Business, and a Diploma in Human Resource Management from the University of Winnipeg.

Steve is married, the proud father of 3 children and grandfather to two amazing grandsons.
