Green Acres: Introduction to Farm Insurance – Module 2

4 General ICM CE Credits / 4 GICS CE Credits

The structure of agriculture in Canada has changed significantly over the last two decades with fewer but larger farms. Whether large or small, farms require a combination of insurance coverages to address both the personal and agri-business aspects of the risk.

This second module of the 2-part webinar will give participants a strong understanding of how to work with Farm Policies and understand their unique exposures.

Attendees Will:
• Discover the wide variety of farm products grown/raised on farms in your province
• Determine the key differences between full time and hobby farms
• Identify the exposures to property and liability losses presented by these farming operations
• Learn about the insurance products required to adequately ensure both full time & hobby farm enterprises
